For the classical season finale, former DSO Principal Guest Conductor and Dallas favorite Gunther Herbig returns to lead the orchestra as it performs Schumann's Konzertstuck for four horns with the DSO horn section as soloists and Bruckner's mighty Symphony No. 7.

Dallas Symphony Orchestra - Blue Planet Live The DSO dwarfed by images of towering whale flukes and (I'm guessing at some point) penguins! This might be just what the doctor ordered as an alternative to the numerous fireworks shows going on (a full night early) around the area.
