Good Records Six Year Birthday Bash and Going-away Party!
The crowd came early to see Voot Cha Index
Enlarge photo | View thumbnailsSaturday, February 11th was a windy, chilly day...but it was warm and cozy in the packed Good Latimer location of Good Records. Hundreds of people showed up to wish the Good Records gang a happy 6th birthday, and a fond farewell to the original location.
TexasGigs.com was there with mics in tow to capture..almost...the entire thing. I had something come up and couldn't stay for Baboon...dammit...but below are all the rest of the performances.
Meet me at the new location at 1808 Greenville Avenue this Saturday, February 18th for the grand opening! LOADS of surprises in-store for ya!

Uh oh, what happened to our Astronautilus interview? It couldn't have been CJ turning up the "background" music volume right then and drowning us out, was it?

You know what? I miss Rubberman at Good's. It was a bit sad being there without him. He's off to go teach at some lucky middle school. Just wait until the music geeks there figure out who he is!

Tim D. and Julie showed up with their adorable kids later on in the evening with (I think) Julie's mom...who had 3 sets of earplugs in her ears! It was fun to watch Tim DeLaughter totally rockin' out to jetscreamer's "Black Hole..."
