Kim Richey performing at All Good Cafe on October 4

Kim Richey will be performing at the All Good Cafe on Thursday, October 4th at 8pm. She will be performing some of her classics and new selections from her recent CD, Chinese Boxes, her first recording of new music in five years and her Vanguard Records debut. It has garnered wide critical acclaim including the Associated Press who wrote, "Richey's new album offers a series of richly colored, carefully wrapped pop baubles that make for an alluring whole... there's an enchanted beauty to Chinese Boxes that will draw listeners to want to open this gift over and over again."

Richey has written or co-written songs for many artists including Mary Chapin Carpenter, Trisha Yearwood and Patty Loveless. She's also made four acclaimed solo albums and had her music featured in films and television shows such as For The Love Of The Game, Angel, Alias and Grey's Anatomy. She has performed on the CBS Saturday Early Show and was featured on NPR's World Cafe.
