Thompson tops Henry for Railroad Commissioner Democratic nomination

For Henry, the day was a bit of a... well, you know.

With 88% of statewide precincts reporting, Democrat Mark Thompson took a 59% to 41% lead over Dale Henry. Thompson will take the party's nomination in the race for Railroad Commissioner against Republican incumbent Michael Williams. According to the Texas Secretary of State's website, 1.42% of eligible Texans turned out for this vote.
