Been mostly for breakfast, so I can't speak for the dinner menu. But this is the best place to go for a weekend brunch. The Migas rock! The Egg Sandwich is killer, and the Pancakes (add the pecans) are one of a kind, must have the pancakes at All Good...

The service is usually a little slow, but don't go here for a quick meal, go to have a slow enjoyable meal with friends and family and make time for it, there is always a wait in the mornings.

I miss seeing the freaky instrumental improv jams from the guys in the New Bohs that used to happen every couple weeks a few years ago. I used to be one of five people in there watching them thinking that I am seeing some of the most talented musicians in Dallas right here, and nobody knows about it...

A one-of-a-kind dining experience. The goat cheese rav is spectacular!

Great place, one of my favorites.

I live above the place, it isnt too shabby for a cup of coffee on a weekend morning. One of those places to read the paper and just watch folks go by. Only drawback is the service from the waitstaff at times...

There isn't a better place in Dallas to spend a lazy weekend morning. The food is just GOOD. All of it. You can't go wrong with the standard eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. My wife likes the pancakes, and I usually get some because they give you way more than one person can eat.
We used to live in Deep Ellum and would walk down here every other week or so, it's just a great little spot.

Ok, I'm smitten. I loved this place from the moment I stepped foot in it, and from then on one would be hard-pressed to find a weekend that passed since when I didn't have brunch in there with any friend I could rouse on a Saturday morning. Now that I'm not in Dallas, I miss it, but I still talk of it dreamily - the best pancakes I have ever eaten, the Empire Bakery sourdough, the chicken fried chicken that convinced me to eat white gravy (yankee that I am, it took me four years of TX living to try it.) I love the music Mike chooses - he has turned me on to many a cool band - I especially love the mo-town classics he blasts on Sundays when it's time to clear the place at 2 pm. I've never eaten anything I didn't love there, never gone in without making a new friend or running into an old one - Mike and his girls (and Taylor and Kenneth) have always gone above and beyond to make sure my friends and I had a great time, and we always do. I recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone, all the time!

I love going here on Tuesday nights. They have a two fer Tuesday special where you can buy one entree and get the second free. It's a great deal and the food is really good. I always get the salmon which is wonderful! A friend of mine says their king ranch chicken is great. They get their vegetables at the farmer's market down the road which I love. The place is really casual and is a good place to visit with friends.

Service can be a little slack at times, but I've always had good meals there. They try to source the veggies locally and from the Farmer's Market (so I've been told)and they are quite tasty. The CFS is great, in my opinion. BUT....they need to get the beer a little colder. The reefer case dosen't quite do the trick.

I went hear after hearing about it on Dallasfood top chicken fried steaks. I was not impressed with the chicken fried steaks but was very impressed with the sides. This is a great place to go if you miss Austin. I gave it a second chance and had breakfast. It was fantastic. Great Migas. Great atmosphere with classic music posters from many Dallas based bands and many that have been thru town. I enjoyed the flashbacks to my college days in Austin, and time well spent in Deep Ellum in the glory days.

This is one of my favorite venues in town, but you really have to know how to approach it.

First, you should really eat dinner at the cafe on the night of the show. Not only is the food good, but it's the only way to get a table and a seat. And while this is a nice, intimate venue, it's not a good place to see a show standing up, as there's almost no way to do so without blocking the table views and getting yelled at.

Show up no later than 90 minutes before showtime, and you should be "All Good" :)

Drink Lone Star, which is a buck cheaper than anything else on the menu.

Also, BRING CASH for the cover!! The way the cover works is that the owner comes around collecting with a jar shortly before showtime and then gives you a hand stamp. I don't know what happens if you don't have cash, because everyone seems to be prepared for it.
