Outstanding, world-class place to celebrate a special occasion.
Atmosphere: First-rate. Unbelievable gilded dining room complete with two-story painted renaissance-style frescos. It feels like time has stopped and you've been transported to France. The dining room is surprisingly cozy and quiet with just soft classical music playing in the background.
Service - Impeccable - the waiter was knowledgeable without being condescending.
Food - Everything was perfectly cooked and the sauces were amazing. Each dish is beautifully presented and looks like a work of art.
Price - We ordered the Chef's prix-fixe menu that was six courses for $145.00 that was paired with wine. Really not a bad deal for such a high-end restaurant.
Pros/Cons depending on what you're looking for - Men are required to wear a jacket. That may be a good policy for some people, but my husband hates being forced to. Also - most diners were 50+. While this can be a good thing for some, my husband and I, in our mid 30's, felt out of place. We'll be back, but maybe for our 20th anniversary.
