I read the above comments and was perplexed..I remember seeing this show at the Opera House and enjoyed in very much. I was curious and asked a staff member if they remember the above customer. Indeed they did. She said that the customer demanded her money back after seeing the entire show and was there on a day that free tickets were given to a local nursing home. The lady was asking for a full price refund even though she used 1/2 price tickets. She was offered free tickets to any other show during the year but refused. The staff member remembered this lady for she said that she called everyone in the community including the City Hall, Chamber of Commerce, Newspaper, area churches and was not taken serious.
It is a shame that she receives a forum on this site for over a year. If you visit the Granbury Opera House, you wil find it very entertaining and one of the last venues for pure family entertainment.

I took my brother & his family (who were visiting us from California) to the 2:30pm show of Mr. Angel, Saturday, May 5, 2007.
We should have recognized the quality of this show by the poor attendance.
We were very bored and there was nothing funny or entertaining in this show.
We had to leave at intermission because we were falling asleep. We also had to wake up another guest who was sitting 2 rows behind us (not in our party) and snoring. We were so disappointed after paying $145 for our tickets for this one show. We asked for a refund from Mr Skiles but he was rude and refused to return our money. In fact, I asked Mr Skiles twice for the refund but I haven't had a reply to my 2nd request. I am on disability and my income is limited but I really wanted to show my brother & his family a good time in Granbury. I made a poor choice in choosing the Granbury Opera House. My brother & his family returned to California, Monday May 7, 2007 having had a bad experience in Granbury. I was very embarrassed. I'm sure they will not recommend them to anyone -- nor will we recommend the Granbury Opera House to any of our friends. Yes, my mom would be proud of me writing this because she believes you ought to get what you pay for. Thank you.
