So last night Alan Cohen and I headed over to Rock House Film Studio for another Intimate Concert Series which are usually held at Bend Studio. However last night featured the studly and talented Bob Schneider, so Ally needed more room for the sold-out crowd.

Alan and I were both giddy as school girls in anticipation of the interview and just being in the same room with Bob.

I think we were both a little nervous when it came time for the interview...and I...in typical Cindy fashion...came off like a blithering idiot. Luckily I hold the edit controls for the Podcasts and did quite a bit of nip and tucking when my mouth began to blather on and on.

There was a point after the interview when Alan had gone downstairs to do a little promoting and schmoozing, and it occured to me that I was alone...in a room alone...with Bob-freakin'-Schneider as he warmed-up for his show. My adoration for Bob is somewhat legendary 'round these parts...so this was like some kind of surreal dream...I almost fainted.

I think I mumbled something like "my gawd you are so dang good...lookin' and he heard it, so we started talking and Salim Nourallah's name came up...at which time I realized that I was in a room...alone..with Bob Schneider...talking about one of my favorite artists [Salim]...and then I fainted...
