Prices are competitive with chocosphere. It'll set you back a lot more than your typical bar, but it's worth every penny IMO. Amedei's the pricey one, and their Chuao normally goes for around $12 or so for a 50g bar. The Domori bars are smaller and thus better for tasting if you don't know your preferences. My 3 favorites are Amedei Chuao, Domori Porcelana, and DeVries Costa Rica 84% (though the lower %s are probably more accessible).

Dear Chocolate-Czar Gouldin (or anyone else who's been there),
How much does this chocolate for only the most discerning chocolate palate cost? Doughmonkey's website gives a list of what they sell, but doesn't exactly detail how much it'll put you into debt to buy the jewel-like morsels.

This is the only place in DFW that sells real chocolate. You heard me. The ONLY place. And they use it in thier baking as well as selling by the bar or block. I wish it was a restaurant so I could rate it 5/5.
FYI, as indicated above, they're closed Mondays.
I snapped a picture of their truffles when I was there last:

I went to Doughmonkey for the first time with my wife and daughter. The Snickerdoodles were incredible, you could taste the honey inside, also the Expresso cookies were wonderful, they had chocolate inside. We also had some petit fors and other chocolates that were great. Great place, look forward to going back.
