Accidentally, huh? How did a document the city was under Federal order not to use accidentally get sent out? Did any landlords accidentally sign it?

Before the unfortunate "Irish incursion," our little village of Farmers Branch was often referred to as "Mayberry West." Aaaahhh...those were the good ole days. Today Meanness and Hate simmer in the air - it's palpable. I simply dread having to tell anyone (even in other states!) that I live in Farmers Branch. What are all those FB churches teaching anyway? I thought we were supposed to welcome the Sojourner?!!

Paranoia might suggest otherwise, but; given cities penchant for automating just about everything, its highly likely that some bureaucrat "scheduled" this mailing long ago, and failed to take it out of the schedule.

Most city offices either subcontract their mailings (utility bills, court notices, newsletters, etc,,,,) to a third party, or the printing and mailing are conducted at another site than that which entered the data.

Regardless though, someone in management should have been aware and taken steps to remove this mailing from the schedule.

Its refreshing (not) to see that a few people seem to be in favor of open borders regardless of the costs or impact on themselves or their neighbors. Renters I guess?

Overpopulation, congestion, urban sprawl, crime, pollution, crumbling infrastructure, overcrowded schools and emergency rooms, lack of affordable housing, diminishing resources, depressed wages, increased tax burdens, the balkanization of our communities, indeed; the decline in quality of life are all the result of unconstrained immigration. Too many people chasing limited resources has never been considered responsible economic, social or cultural policy.

Virtually every industrialized nation, even China, has taken steps to end illegal immigration and to curtail legal immigration to only that which is prudent, demonstrably necessary, and above all other concerns; in the best interests of their native population. Its dangerously misguided to suggest that the United States shouldn't do likewise.

Fresh air, clean water, wide open spaces, they ain't making any more of these. There is no problem confronting America's Citizens that would not be measurably improved by securing our borders and enforcing our immigration laws.
